760/7600 on bags?

When you shoot a pump action rifle off range bags, do you put the stock on the bags or the receiver/mag? I plan on shooting for groups soon and want to make the best rest possible.

Always stabilise the action (receiver/magazine).

The forearm on mine would violently slam back from the recoil if I didn't hold onto it. I always held onto it and supported the forearm. I never figured out a better way to do it.
