I picked up a box of 140 gr Barnes tipped TSX to try out of my 280 Rem. anyone have any load suggestions to start out with? I used the notes app on my iPhone and wrote down the load data for IMR-4350/4831 and H4831sc from a Barnes manual.

I have a post in the bullet test thread about this same bullet and caliber. My 280 loves this bullet over 54gr of IMR 4350 and a CCI 200. Its stacks them in there for sure! Only shot one thing with that load so far, a big doe. Dumped her like she had been smacked by a mack truck.

I was looking at that last night. I'm going to start out with a couple loads using IMR-4831, that's been the magic powder with 140gr bullets in mine and go from there.
