Have done some bullets test with the new 7mm AccuBond 140grs in may Ruger #1 7x57 with 22" barrel.

And the Nosler AccuBond stands very good compared to SPEER Trophy Bonded Bear Claw.

..........TBBC.............................ACCB

The bullets are shoot from 15yds into wet newspaper.

Nosler AccuBond 140grn - 2775fps, 19,3" penetration.
Trophy Bonded Bear Claw140grn - 2748fps, 15,8" penetration.

So the AccuBond perform very nice compared to Trophybonded and the price for AccuBond are much more healty...

Could you tell me what load you used? I have a Number 1 that I just picked up and was given some 140 grain Accubonds. Also let me know your C.O.L. I have only shot factory Hornady 139 grain SST's so far and it was fairly accurate. I tried some 154 Grain Interbonds and had horrible luck( don't worry Nosler, they were free so I thought I would try them).

Hi, of course I will get you my loadingdata:

Nosler AccuBond 140grs
Cases: Winchester
Primer: CCI250 primer
Powder: Norma 203-B / 44grs
COL: 79.5mm
Freebore: 1.5mm
Vo: 838m/s

This load has accurancy five shoot in a 1" from 100yds.

Nosler AccuBond 140grs
Cases: Winchester
Primer: CCI2o0 primer
Powder: AA4350 / 47grs
COL: 79.5mm
Freebore: 1.5mm
Vo: 780m/s

Accurancy five shoot 2.5" from 100yds. But guess it will shoot better with more speed, will try it in the future.

My 7x57 like Norma 203-B powder and other users i know has best result with this powder to, even with the heavier Norma Oryx 156grs.

Has also tried Hornady SST 139grs with 203-B it,s shoot ok.

So get some powder close to Norma 203-B like Hodgon H-414 or Reloader 15.

Thanks for sharing, it looks like the TBBC needs a bit more vel. to get penetration up, they are a tough bullet.
Lefty, intersting about your exp. w/ the 154grHIB. I have tried them in my .280 & 7mm Dakota w/ several diff. powders & they are awfull for accuracy. I wish Nosler made a 150grAB.
