I would think it would smoke a deer out to 200 yards as loang as the shot is placed in the boiler room

Like Sgt. Friday use to say in Dragnet. Give us the facts! What caliber you shooting? Velocity? Any Hunting Ballistic Tip with a muzzle velocity between 2100 and 3000 fps placed in the boiler room of a deer out to 200 yards will kill it.

If you're talking the 95 gr bullet for the .243 & 6mm cartridges - YES! :grin:

For example: My 13 year old son put a 95 gr Ballistic Tip bullet into the chest of a mule deer doe at 275 yards and dropped her like a hot rock! The bullet went in, destroyed the lungs, took a chunk out of the heart and exited through the off-side fore-leg, shattering the bone on the way out.

She dropped dead instantly and slid down the hill as I watched. Pretty cool. I was pleased with the destruction and instant results. That bullet has also proven to be very accurate from our old 6mm Rem rifle.
