I finally struck a deal and am the proud owner of the Weatherby orphan caliber.

Yes after all these years I finally own a Wby 26" barrel MK V Stainless in the orphan caliber. 7mm WBY MAG.

I always liked the ballistics and since I am a 7mm fan I could not pass it up. Like new fired less than a box with a WBY premier 3x9 scope.
Standard 7mm Bee ballistics....

140 gr at 3400
150 gr at 3250
160 gr at 3150
175 gr at 3100

Sweet!!!!!!!!!

I now have:

270 Bee Ultralight weight
7mm Bee Stainless
30-378 Accumark
416 Bee Classicmark

all Mrak V's.

POP,

You certainly have a knack for finding some sweet deals. You may just have the best of the hive with that calibre. It is a great one, for sure.

Man, get it to the range and let's see you stretch it's legs, because that 7mmWby has long legs.

Nice lookin gun Pop. I just got the scope mounted on Jordans 7mm-08.Hope to post pics as soon as I find the cable to my camera.

Hey POP there are quite a few more WBY orphans you need to adopt:
240
257
300
340
338-378
378
460

You really shouldn't split the family up like that. :p :p :p :p

CONGRatulations.- A vy fine Cal.- I killed my largest deer with a 7mmWby Mag in a Remy700 SS, I have almost all 7mms but actually Im
missing that 7mm Wby Mag, in the near future there should be an opportunity for one. I used Hornady 162gr Spirepoints in that Bee and for sure rocked.
Congatulations again Pop.

never had a 240, 338-378, 340, or a 460....but I worked on them plenty!

Congrats Pop. You have a nice collection going and I bet you have a smile on your face every time you open your safe. 8)

Should have her by next week. Thanx guys.

CONGRATS ON YOUR NEWEST BEE....as you will remember I too have a 7 Mk5 w/26" Bbl. Havn't shot it yet!!! Just have not taken the time. Be sure to share some of the loads you work up, specially with the 160 AB's. Thats what I will shoot in my 7B. I just got 60 new-unfired rounds of the Norma made 7mmB brass, trimmed, champhered, neck-sized, etc.....not primed as yet. The Norma brass is definately softer so I am anxiously looking forward to hearing how yours works up with RL 22 and others. Have about 600 AB's on the shelf in 7mm and just ordered another 10 bags from the shop today.......feel sure the experimentation/shooting your new 7 will be an absolute joy! Again hope to hear just "what" shoots best in your B! Almost forgot, I found three un-opened cans of MRP in the back of the safe......looking for loads with that too....Thanks in advance for any loads you can share that you personally shoot in your B. Will advise you of same here. R
