8) I've got a Win. Mod. 70 Super Grade that I've had a little work done to and while I can't quite get groups like that mine will keep 165gr.Partitions inside 3.0" all day long. I'm quite happy with it. 8) 8)

Certainly not as good as POP's load, but since I can't shoot 300 yards anywhere around , it will have to do!! This is from my Savage 116BSS in .270 WSM. Brass is Winchester with flash holes deburred, Federal 210 primers , 70 grains of Magpro, and a 140 .277 AccuBond. Accuracy is between .3-.6 MOA consistantly and velocity is 3150 fps. This is a group I shot on wednesday 11/10/2004.

Bowhunter. A couple of my buddies have 270 WSM's and all of them shoot under 1/2" with the Accubonds! Great bullet. Just waiting for one in 416 Cal and I will be in Utopia! :p

Well my standard 270 does quite well with those 140 AB's as well. Check this out! Regards, Eagleye...

POP,

Isn't it funny how over on AR there's a thread about how "unusual" it is for guns to shoot less than 1 MOA !! If I can't get a gun to shoot less than that, I sell it. All my rifles shoot .75 MOA to .25 MOA, and they are all factory rifles!! I've been using Noslers since the '70s in all my hunting rifles. I've never personally experienced any of these so called "failures" that others have, even with Ballistic tips. Over the years, I've developed some tricks to come up with a good load quickly. That was actually the first load that I put together. I may try in the future to get a bit more velocity out of it. I mainly plan to use the gun for deer and speed goats. I would like to do an antelope hunt in Wyoming next year with it . Nosler bullets have always given me the accuracy and performance that I demand. Keep up the good work, Nosler !!!

I agree All my guns shoot MOA or less. You just gotta play a little. For example..... Below are two groups.

461 WBY Magnum Classicmark Mark V

416 cal 330 GS Custom
120 gr of RL 19
3080 fps
That is the group to the left below. Measures .595 center to center.

The other group is my new 45-70 and the 300 gr Partitions. 52 gr of RL 7 and 2100 fps or so. This one measures .55" outer edge to outer edge! You do the math! And this is from a lever gun. Marlin stainless 1895 Guide gun!.

Both 3 shots at 100 yds

I'd be game for that!! I'd take my .300 Ultra mag, we could do some serious long range damage to them. Only problem is, we'd need a 55 gallon drum of powder. Do ya think Nosler and Accurate Powder would donate???

Awesome groups guys!
I'm a bit embarrassed to post mine from today.
375 H&H, 260 grain Accubonds (factory seconds), RL-15, 2400 FPS, 100 yards, Whitworth Express

I may hire all of you to shoot our advertising targets!
