Accubonds - .308, 180 grain vs. 200 grain

I have a load worked up for the 200 grain AccuBond out of my .300 Win Mag, but I like to tinker so I am going to play with the 180 grain version to see if my groups tighten up a bit. If not, oh well.

My question is:

Are the nose profiles the same on both weights, with the difference in the two bullets being in the shank. I am wondering whether I need to go through the excercise of finding the depth to lands again, or whether the seating depth for the 200's should be the same seating depth as the 180's.

I hope this made sense...I know what I am thinking, but not sure it came out that way on cyberpaper

300 winnie,

I can't speak to the .308 AB's, but the 7mm 140gr and 160gr AB's appear to have the same ogive. I would think that it would be the same for the .308s.
