I am wondering if anyone knows of a cheap way to make a sterdy rest for a rifle that will last a long time and will help me out with my accuracy at long ranges, because right now i am using a bipod and it works pretty good but the dust and rocks fly up in my face when i am in the prone position. Thanks

I am not a compitetion shooter but you could lay down a thick blanket( like a moving blanket) to keep the dust and rocks from kicking up.

Better yet, go get a piece of scrap carpet from a carpet store. Lay that in front of and below your muzzle. Works great.
