Wife went to a baby shower so I took the opportunity to go up to the in-laws farm and do some shooting. I had some ammo loaded up in nice new Nosler brass for the 22-250 that needed to be once fired so I ran through a bunch of shots.

Did some longer range work out to 300. It was a nice sunny day but the wind wasn't too good. Had a 10-15 wind with gusts up around 20 and it kept changing from blowing at about 1 o'clock to 2:30. Here was my best result from a 5 shot group at 300. I tried to fire them as fast as I accurately could to keep the wind from changing in mid group.

These were shot prone off the bipod. I was fairly happy with it....it's minute of coyote anyway!

All in all it was a nice way to spend the afternoon and burn some powder. Now I have a bunch of reloading to get working on tomorrow.

Just got a new batch of 300 H&H brass in the mail too so I have to work up some loads for that as well. The 300 should be back from the gunsmith mid week or so, so hopefully I will have another range report from that rifle in the near future!
