Dan asked about Alliant Powder being so scarce here in Canada. Here is a copy of the response he received.

Well guys today I got real lucky I got a line on some RL22 & I got it . A 5
Pounder for $45.00 per pound plus shipping (y)!
I should now be set for the reminder of my loading years.

Blessing,
Dan

It could be gone in no time, Dan. The powder is too good not to be used. I'm down to my last seven pounds!

Dan,

I'd buy another one just to make sure. Then you can shoot your rifle worry free.

JD338

I have 12lbs now !! I am going to order enough Accubonds & AccuBond Long ranges before summer & then I will be truly set!!

Blessings,
Dan

Don't forget, Dan, you need to feed that Whelen. ReLoder 15 and IMR 8208 XBR are your friends.

Yes I have 6lbs of RL15 & I have around a 100 rounds of 225gr. Accubonds loaded as well!
Life is good, will be getting my new VX3 at the end of this month!! Sorry DrMike for the delay.

Blessings,
Dan

Whenever, Dan. It'll be on its way whenever you say. Only a hundred rounds of 225 ABs?

Wholesale Sport just received a large shipment of Alliant powder which was pretty well sold out at the mail order level in a few days. The individual stores now are receiving stock but most are limiting quantities.

Just received a good order of various Alliant powders (19, 23, 25 and 26) to be added to the others I already had (15, 17 and 22). I'm in good shape again.

I have learned that if you see a powder that you can use, you best be grabbing it. I could see the writing on the wall a long time ago and i stocked up on powders that i use a lot of. I got about 30LBS or so now so i shouldn't run out anytime soon.
I stocked up on primers too, infact I sold 10 thousand to a sporting good store in Saskatoon a while back because they couldn't get them.

I have a feeling your going to love RL26.... It's really proving to be very versatile. All the way from the 243 to 338 with heavier bullets. Congrats on the score. It meters very nicely too.

Loading up some loads tomorrow, Scotty. Hope to get out to the range again this week.

It has less case fill than 23. Surprised by that. Never would have thought that about it.
