Spent the afternoon at the range.
Since hunting season is upon us, I started with the .30-06 and ONLY did 300 yard, standing shooting with it. I'm getting better, but need to steady down a little more. Still, it was fun, and I hit my sihouette about 50% of the time.
Then I went over to the square range, and started in with the .38/.357 revolver, the .22 Ruger target pistol, and the .45 ACP, along with some fun practice with the .22 Marlin 39A. That's my all-time favorite rifle by the way! What a dinger! I was shooting at steel spinners almost all afternoon!
Went through almost 500 rounds of ammo! All from standing. The only thing I used the bench for was a place to put my firearms & ammo.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Hope you all had a good afternoon too.

. I am not sure you could find a better way to spend a day unless you were out in the field on a hunt!!
