Another leather project

Boy I'm beginning to think I need you to make me up one of those 4 ammo cartridge belt holsters for my 30-06 and would also work with my 6mm Remington. That would be pretty sweet to use if the bison start coming out of Yellowstone before February 15th so I can go down and try and find one. I've been going out every couple of weeks or so to shoot a few rounds out of my Ruger 1B in 30-06 that I'll be using on my hunt loaded with 165 gr. Nosler Accubonds. We need some weather and cold for that to happen though. This is a 3 shot group I shot at 100 yards today.

If I get reports that there are bison out of the Park and I'll be headed down I sure will. So far nothing has came out and they need more snow and cold.

I enjoy taking an idea and turning it into something someone wants, likes, and uses. He was pretty proud to show it off when I gave it to him Monday.
(Wait until Gil shows off what I've made for him, once I figure out the easiest way to get it north of the border)

FYI for those here: Patrick made me a double magazine carrier for Sako 85 magazines, and a wrist cartridge carrier for the 6.5 CM/6.5 Swede for when I am hunting with the High Wall or Low Wall. I believe that Patrick did a great job of taking my ideas and turning ("bending") the leather into functional pieces that should work as desired in the field! Looking forward to the field testing to prove our design's.

I'll be getting him to also make me double magazine carriers for the Browning X Bolt, Winchester Model 88, and pre-81 Browning BLR magazines too!
I haven't talked to Patrick about it yet...but a double magazine carrier for the Ruger 10/22 magazines might be an interesting project for when out hunting snowshoe hares... and maybe a wrist cartridge carrier for 28 ga shells for hunting upland birds with the Winchester Model 37A single shot. (and the ideas just keep coming! )
