Well i finally got around to finishing my daughter's antelope mount from 2023. No trophy by any means just its her first. The skull has been hanging bare on the garage wall for over 2 years after i pulled it out of the compost pile after spending the winter there. Wasn't sure what i was going to do but really happy with the results.
It was the first skull I've boiled. The thought was the spray paint will help hold it together and the fact its a young buck. The leather lace will keep it from slipping off the peg if she decides to hang something on it, and yes the shell is the one she used to harvest it. She hasn't seen it or know that I was even doing anything with it. Her birthday is tomorrow so just have to get it boxed up.
