Any plans for a new rifle in 2025?

Waiting on my new 6 Dasher with a 30 inch Bartlien barrel, 1:7.4 twist 1.250" straight taper. Gunsmith just picked up the Impact Precision custom action last week. New ATACR 7-35 will be sitting on it. It will be in a McMillian A5 tactical stock that I recently used my 6 BR for 600 yard competitions. The Rem. 700 action was taken off and the Impact Precision has the Rem 700 footprint. I wanted a Bat Machine action, but it will take a year before I get it, but took 3 weeks to get the Impact. Some more bedding and the baby will be ready to shoot those 105 Hybrids. Of course, not a hunting rifle but strictly a long range rig.

New to me means just that. It might be a used rifle, action or a new in the box. But however I get it, it will be built my way to mean new to me.

The last new gun in the box I bought was a Savage Axis in 223 youth stock in Muddy Girl camo, I never fired a round in it till I got it setup my way,, This is how it came home

I took it home, watered it, and it grew into a full size 257 AI. A little humor, but I seriously only get a new gun to use, that I have built my way. In all honesty, this rifle wouldn't even shoot as I bought it. It had no bolt, I only by most guns for the actions.

But if it is what you like, I'd consider anything you buy, used, new, in parts, whatever, your new ride if it suites you!

When it comes to new rifles I really don't NEED anything. When it comes to WANTS I have my eyes open for a Winchester model 71 in .348, a Winchester model 64 in 30-30, a Winchester model model 70 featherweight in 7x57 and 6.5x55, and a Remington 700 Classic in 35 Whelen. My goal for 2025 is to shoot every rifle and handgun that currently own. Note, If I can't find a 6.5x55, I think a 260 Ackley would be a nice addition.

Exquisite taste in firearms!(y)

I have not been able to get out and shoot the rifle yet but my initial observations regarding fit and finish are very good. The stock is well shaped and comfortable in my hands. Balance with the VxIII is very good. The wood is very plain but, it’s a 500.00 gun. It simply feels like an adults rifle. Looking forward to doing a lot of shooting with it this spring.
Still no word on my shotgun, but I gotta tell you, I love talking to that girl in Italy at the customer service desk. Boy does she have me figured out.

I have wants but no needs, and after last week finishing up a excessive tag for antler less deer hunt. I began to wonder if I ever need more rifle than my first rifle I ever bought. My Remington 700 BDL 6mm Rem. I will most likely never hunt Grizzly and I can say today I have never shot anything with my other rifles I don't think my 6mm Rem would not have taken with a quality bullet. I enjoyed carrying it all of last week and I missed it like a old friend and we have traveled many a miles together. No new rifle for Me as I sit here and think about another.
Love the 6mm Remington love the 6mm Remington just like you. Yes it's that good.

The 325WSM is in my possession. It needs cleaned up and a little TLC, but looking forward to the project in the cold days of winter. It came with about 70 rounds of brass and a set of dies. I will give the once over and then post a pic or two.
I think you will really like the 325 WSM. I loaded for a good friend who had one and he sure killed a lot of elk with it. I was surprised at how mild the recoil actually felt. It just didn't seem to match the cartridge and what I expected.
