I was wondering if Quickload had any Data yet for the Hammer Hunter 175gr? I'm thinking it would be easy to get high velocity and yet still be easy on the shoulder? I'm thinking mostly deer/antelope, I have what I need in 200-225s and some old 250 Grand Slams for a thumper. Any help or suggestion is appreciated. thanks.

Another nice surprise....was loading up some trial loads yesterday for this 1998 338WM. Since I want to use the lighter weights "mostly", I was pleased this rifle has a shorter throat than I thought it would have. It may be normal, but it is shorter than some 338s I've owned before. Groovy! ha

Boy, 3200+ is pretty good speed for the old war horse. Should be pretty easy to get on a goat at 400 yards.

Anything around 3100 fps and good accuracy is good nuff.
