Was wanting to try these two powders with the 260-I have some 125 PT's and 130 AB's and some 129 Interbonds. Is there any quickload data with R17? I need a starting and max load point. thanks all, gotta love the 6.5's.

RMarshall,

I've yet to try Rel 17 in my 260 Rem as I already have around one dozen+ loads that are MOA and better using other powders.

However, I do use it in one of my 6.5x47 Lapua's and it's fantastic. Also, I've only tested 140 class bullets in it; 140 PT, AB and VLD; 34 to 43.5 gr. I hit pressure signs earlier with the AB, then the PT and finally the VLD, with it's shorter bearing surface.

thanks jmad.
GSSP,
I have had good success with R19 and i am finding H414 showing some promise. Which ones do you like? I can't seem to find the magic powder with 130 AB though.
thanks guys

RMarshall,

Same here. I've found H414 works well with the 140 MK. Several bullets like R19 but darned if I could get the 130 AB to work with Rel 19, Rel 22 or H4831sc.

With the 125 PT, my rifle liked H4350 and H1000.

Did not try the InterBonds but the 129 InterLocks like Rel 19.

try RL22 for the 130. will likely need to use a drop tube to achieve the highest velocity.

With the 130 AB and Rel 22 I could get in up to 49 gr for 2951 fps in my factory Rem 24" barrel with 1.5", 3-shot accuracy. Didn't make the cut for me as my rifle had too many loads that went 1 MOA and under.
