Looking to put together a quick and dirty zombie load (zombie competition) using the 69 CC and CFE. Nosler is not showing any data for the load. Hodgdon, yes, but hoping to hear from some folks who have tried the combo and what their results was.

Thanks,

Big Al

Benchmark 23.7 grains Bushmaster 1-8 twist Predator .543 5 shots at 200 yards best ever in my rifle. 69 gr CC

I'm sorry I can't help on the cfe223 info....but, I have to know what a "Zombie competition" is? Is it some kind of tactical shoot?

Just signed up.... first post...

I shot many a thousand rounds of 223 in HP competition and kept it simple. Used 69s, 77 mk, and 75 amax and used 24.5 grains of either Varget or RL15 regardless of bullet seated to mag length. On the 75s I was 15/1000 into the lands but that was for 600 yd and single round loading only. Rifle never liked 80s.

Can't go wrong with those powders.

Welcome aboard, 240NMC. Always glad to receive input from others. A great first post, BTW.

.223 or 5.56NATO levels?
Hornady 68gr HPBT, 25.4gr CFE223 for 2800fps in the Service Rifle section. For plinking I use 24.6gr

You probably won't make the velocity per the Hodgdon data.
