Well lots of things went wrong...... We got up in Battle Creek and set up camp. First day my ATV died. No way to hike the required 10-15 miles back where the elk are at. Second day my bud's ATV gave up the cv joint ghost about 10 miles in Hell's Canyon perse!, at night.
So with both out ATV's broke, we came home early and empty handed! Oh well.

Took some great pictures though.

Well heck.

Still, it looks like you spent some great time in beautiful country.

Sure did. Click on pictures and they will come up right side up with more detail

I guess this is where I have to offer you better luck next year.
Consider it so offered.

Well, that stinks. Trust things go better next year. Ain't that the way it goes all too often, though. You did see some lovely country, though.

Sorry to learn of your mechanical problems.. That is a bummer . As others have said at least you saw some beautiful country.. Thanks for sharing the photos..

Fotis sorry to here of your misfortune. I hope you enjoyed the beautiful area you were in and came home refreshed and ready to plan for next year.

Fotis,
Sorry to hear about your problems while hunting. I have had years like that too in the past. But I still enjoyed being out there and have incredible pics that grace my walls at home. Hunting with friends made it the best in spite of the problems.

what is that they said about the worst day of hunting being better than the best day at work? Hope they were still good days. Hope there is more hunting in the offing for you this fall and that it goes better. CL

Fotis, sorry to hear about the so called bad luck, been there, done that too. atleast your back home safe and sound :) ..Another day well come for sure!

Lou

Ya know....everyone is offering their sympathies for the crappy trip and though I do feel your pain on that looking at those pictures I envy you. Even a crappy trip there is much better than the places I hunt! I would have been really tempted never to come out.

If you're lucky enough to get to the mountains....you're lucky enough!

To be in the mountains, seeing where the elk roam and walking where the big animals live is a thrill and a treat for any man.

Fotis what a great attitude!! Thank you for the post with some real beautiful photos.

Blessings,
Dan
