Been fishing lately with my son since his work schedule is 4x10s with Fridays off, (I'm retired). It's a SmallMouth Bass fishery and if you want meat you can go for Kokanee. The fishing picks up as the water cools down and we both like the topwater action that lights up this time of year. Yea it's not exactly in my back yard but just a short skip away.
No PICs of fish ! You know how that goes.... As these pics show beautiful country and NO people out this time of year.
The bummer part is I use $110 of fuel each trip to run from the boat ramp to where you catch quality fish. I'll be fishing this through Oct then Elk / Deer take the priority.
