From what I have seen here from Nosler I assume the main differance between the two bullets is the Armageddon is faster to expand than the B-tip. Is this right? Just want to under stand what to expect when selecting varmit bullets for different cartridges. 22-hornet/221rem/223rem and yotes verses PD sized stuff.

I would expect that they would function much the same as the BT Varmint. Other than the flat base design and BC difference's I see a reason to think they would act differently on impact at similar velocities. However I personally haven't shot them,,,,other's that have may give a better idea.

While I haven't shot any varmints with the Varmageddon bullets yet, I would guess that they might expand similarly to the ballistic tip, but would penetrate less, given that they are a standard cup and core bullet and lack the solid base design of the ballistic tips. Also would imply that the ballistic tips could be pushed harder and faster and maintain their structural integrity than the standard cup and core flat based Varmageddons. I know the ballistic tips are great performers on critters, I expect no less from the Varmageddons.

I trust Armageddon has not come yet! The Varmageddon is another story.

I read right passed that BIG V logo on the top of the page here and see armageddon, just one of my querks.

I love rain-X while some can't see passed the rain drops speeding by while I don't see them just the clearer view of the road ahead.
