Barnes bullets have new Owners

Wow, first I have heard of that. I receive their monthly newsletter and didn't read anything about them looking to sell out their business. I guess it is a way of the times. Scotty

Their website was down just before the end of the year. Now I think I know why. I'm sure when it comes back on line all "the new" will be on it.

Fascinating! I'm very interested in the number of companies represented in the Freedom Group (Remington, Brushmaster, Dakota, Panther Arms, Marlin and Parker). This is getting to be quite a conglomerate. I can only hope that quality is maintained. At the moment, the quality control for at least a couple of these firms is not what it was a couple of years ago.

Scary thought. Not to crazy about monopolies.

Well that sucks....Hornady actually made a 12 ga slug that would shoot decent w/o being 3.00 a shot. Thats gone. Another reason to buy Savage and Nosler. They've got Marlin too , dont they? Big Green mess....CL

I wouldn't complain if Nosler started make muzzleloader sabots, particulary 50 cal accubonds or ballistic tips maybe even better. Howbeit, the Powerbelt hasn't let me down yet.
