...what's everyone using???

...currently, I can find Devcon Steel, BedRock, & Accuglas/ Accuglas Gel on the shelf of the LGS's...

...last rifle I bedded was 15yrs. ago w/ Accuglas Gel, the BedRock looks pretty good, but I've been hearing a lot of good reports on the Devcon...

JB Weld has always worked great for me... One Shot case lube as a release agent is the only way to go.

I have used Accraglass Gel-Brownell's or Pro-Bed 2000 (Brown)-MidwayUSA. The Pro-Bed 2000 costs $41. versus $21 for the AccraGlass. The Pro-Bed sets up pretty fast but does not get very hard. If you want speed of setup, get Pro Glass, if you can wait for setup and stand a little lower viscosity, use AccraGlass.

I just cut, filed and fitted a steel pillar pipe into a Mauser rear post today and am considering what to use to hold the OD of the pillar. This is in wood and the Pro-bed 2000 is on hand in my shop, so I will use it. On plastic, I might prefer AccraGlass instead.

Use diluted acetic acid on epoxy that is not fully cured to clean it off scope bells. Even vinegar will sometimes do the trick.

Butch's Bore Cleaner works well on uncured epoxy as well (most bore solvents seems to remove uncured epoxy)... though I don't know that I'd want to rub-down my scope with them.

ACRAGLAS GEL® - Brownells

Same here. Works great. Opperator error lacks a bit to be desired, but the product it self I like.

WD40 works awesome on Devcon. I'm not sure how well it would remove acraglass.

Guess I am going to break the mold here. Last two I have done were Marine Tex. Carnuba floor wax as a release agent. Works great and it mixes up into the consistance of pudding so it doesn't run everywhere.

The previous 6 or 7 were Accraglass.

I also use Accraglass to perform grip reductions and custom beavertails on Glocks. I have never used the gel, but I have heard it is the cats butt!

The AcraGel is excellent Pat. I have used it a few times now and am a fan. Inexpensive, works easily and seems to lay in really nice. Not sure if I am man enough to try anything else it works so nicely for me.

Pat, good to see you here! Hope you're enjoying this winter a tad more than last. If you're still riding the Harley everywhere, I bet you are...

I think there are a ton of folks coming over from the old crowd. This place is like the good old days, for the most part. Enjoy!
