Best binoculars for around $300.? or less.

I'm sure this gets asked a lot, so here it is one more time. Here's what I want, or think I want. I want the best 10x42 bino's I can get for around $300 . I'll be using them for hunting and trying to see what the guide boat up river is using to catch the fish I just drifted over. Water proof and fog proof.

I would look at the Vortex Diamondback. I use them and they are excellent glass for the money! There are multiple reviews on them on the internet.

Bought a pair of Nikon Monarchs for my youngest son. Very nice for the price, which was around $250 when I got them. I am quite please with them, and will use them instead of my Ziess, when I leave my Ziess binos at the ranch...
