So went to the range today to shoot my Savage 111 in 7mm RM, load was 160 AccuBond, winchester brass and federal GM215 M primers. This was at 200 yards, last group of the day, had let it cool completely before just trying to verify my 200 yard zero. Believe or not this is 3 shots. The shot above my writing is from another group. Looking through the spotting scope I could not readily find my third shot, but its there with the first shot.

Fotis lets see what your Savage can do now.

Now, that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! That has to warm the cockles of your heart (whatever a cockle may be). Excellent shooting, Corey. You have your load for that rifle.

Yes I'm very happy with it and did not expect that. I expected at the least a 2 inch group. I'm ready to fill my cow tag now. Now its just up to me to do it.

Sub 1/2" at 200 yards very nice :) Both Savage and Tikka's shoot very well typically pretty tough to beat either of them especially in a factory gun. The 160 gr AB is certainly a great all around 7mm bullet.

Cool thanks. The ones I like are out of stock but so goes life.

Hey! I have been singing their praises for years!

My 25-06 FP tactical gave me the best group I ever shot!

100 ballistic tip at 3340 fps. 0.050" at 100 yards.

What was your load????????????????

Corey., thank you for the report and photos. Sure won't mind your load Bud as I have 5 different 7mm Mags that I load for  !!

Blessings,
Dan

Dan, sorry been busy at work my load is 62 grains of RL 22 (used to load 66 grains but I have changed lots and this stuff is different). GM215M primers, winchester brass and a 160 AccuBond. I really like the AccuBond bullet. How that helps. I would work up this load, my chrono showed 2995 fps on average for this load, which is what my old load did but it was a different lot number.
