Broke an Athlon

I was a believer in Athlon but now I’ve been let down. I moved my Midas BTR from the 7-08 to the 458 Win Mag and lasted 20 rounds before the wheels fell off , so to speak. On the 7-08 I took out to 600 and 1000 many times and always returned to zero. On the 458 it started to lose elevation at 100 , after several more rounds it would wonder all over the place.
Sent it back to Athlon and they will be replacing it but I have to wait till the end of April. Bummer

That's some bad luck. I have been temped to try one of the Athlons on one of my air rifles but I know they won't last long on one. Spring Air rifles are known scope killers.
