... my goto 308 Win cartridge for hogs, deer, black bear, elk & moose is the factory Federal Power Shok 180 grain pointed soft point ... the rifle is a Miroku Browning BLR '81 stainless levergun with a 20" bbl ... the ammo is very accurate in my rifle ... can't remember ever needing a second shot ... if it makes you feel better to pay twice as much for premium ammo/bullets be my guest
