So the burris ffII i have that is going on my 375 ruger until I can get the S&B is a gloss burris fullfield II3-9X40 that says made in usa on the eye objective. I see now and for some time that these scopes are made in the phillipines. Are there any known or optical differences between the made in usa models and the made in phillipines model?

I got mine back about 2001-2002, when did they move over to the phillipines?

I don't know when exactly they switched to the Phillipines but my 3-9X40 and one of my 2-7's are made in the USA, the other 2-7X35 is a Philipine model and seems pretty much exactly like my other one except the power ring is stiffer to turn on the USA version.

Burris moved the Fullfield II line to the Philippines, starting in about 2004. This is according to Chuck Hawks? So, some of the FFII scopes were made here in the USA and some in the Philippines. The US made scopes are clearly marked.
