Bushnell 6500

I think most of you know that I am not a big fan of Bushnell and neither was my God-son :wink: . Well he call be the day before yesterday from Grand Prairie where he works, Derek advised that he was in trying to find a scope for his wife's CDL and while talking to one of the owners about at VX-3 they advised him that he could give him a smokin deal on a Bushnell 6500. Derek was advised that they have a absolute no hassle life-time warranty on them so he purchased a 2.5-16X50 for $500.00 taxes in.
I have been told by other people that the 6500 is a pretty decent scope so I hope Derek doesn't have any problems with it.

Dan I never had a top end Bushnell and have sent a few Banners back for repairs and have had no hassle from them and they always came back fixed.

I had one years back on my 338 Lapua and really liked the glass and tracking was spot on. Fast forward til a few months ago when I bought my second 6500. The new scope came with plastic turrets, older one had metal turret and the tracking on the new one was horrible. I hope the scope your God-son bought is better then the one I recently had. On a side note if it is not the no questions asked policy works great.
