case lube

Yes....best stuff I have ever used. I got it from ar15.com.
12 parts (12 oz) ISO HEET red bottle (99% isoprophl alcohol to one part (1 oz) warmed Liquid Lanolin. Shake up. A little goes a long way....its all I use these days.

The liquid lanolin.... find at natural food grocery stores like Whole Foods, some pharmacies, and women's care (think nursing mothers) stores...or online.... like from Amazon.

Don't sweet the cost of the LL ...used an ounce at a time in the mix ... one 4 oz bottle will produce 52 oz of mix.....enough to size well over 50,000 small rifle cases for example. Hardest part will be remembering where you put the 3/4 full Liquid Lanolin bottle after you empty the first 13 oz mix in a couple years

ISO HEET can be found at Walmart, brand name auto parts stores ...etc...just make sure its the red bottle (not the Yellow) . 99% Isoprophl Alcohol (what ISO HEET IS)can also be found at some drug stores (Walgreens, CVS, etc..depending on the market)...but if you decide to try to find it instead of the ISO HEET....make sure its the 99% stuff (the 90% doesn't work as well, it takes longer to dry, and the LL sometimes separates after the initial mix if you use the 90%.......just stick with the 99%) Walmarts put the ISO HEET on sale around here after the winters over for less than $2 a bottle.

Again..a little goes a long way and this stuff works extremely well. I use an empty gallon plastic ice cream container.....put 500 .223 brass in it as an example.....give it one squirt...then I swirl the brass around in the ice cream container so approximately 1/2 of the necks are facing me ...give it one squirt. toss them around and repeat swirl...one squirt...and again. (Technique not my idea but it works great...and producing the empty ice cream container worked out well for me) That's 4-5 squirts max for 500 cases.....seriously...it doesn't take much/ a little goes a long way. Let them dry/alcohol evaporate for a few minutes.....size like butter. Cheapest/best stuff I have ever used.

I take no credit for it....I found it here (and I apologize for the language in the link name).

Lastly....make sure you keep the container shut/sealed when not in use. 99% iso attracts water and obviously will evaporate when exposed for a period. So either buy a decent spray bottle with a off nozzle....or stretch a rubber glove over the head of the spray bottle to the bottle etc when stored/not in use. Keep mix out of reach of children/away from flames etc etc etc ....like with any spray lube.
