Five centerfire rifles for world-wide hunting (on land). Ammo is not a restriction. Here is my line up.
22-250 Rem - varmint specialist
6.5 Creedmoor - medium plains game
280 Rem - medium / large game
300 Weatherby - larger game
375 H&H - the big stuff

.223 easy to shoot and find anywhere into anything.
6.5 CM/6.5x55 same as above.
30-06 It’ll take care of everything if you use the right bullet in the correct POI.
.375 H&H What’s not to like about it, unless you’re a.404 Jeffery kind of guy.
458 Lott Not much to not like other than the recoil even with two mercury recoil reducers. But when you’re hunting animals that want to kill you or anyone near you it’s clearly a situation that you better be using enough gun with a specialized bullet for the task at hand!

I would narrow it down to one.
416 Wby with my 350gr TTSX load.
From squirrel to cape it’ll handle them all.

I think I could pick three and be just as well but I will play along!

1) .220 Swift - Varmints especially.

2) .25-06 Remington - Smaller deer and Antelope

3) .30-06 Springfield - Anything short of Dangerous Game but especially mule deer, elk, black bear, caribou and moose

4) .375 H&H Magnum - Anything large or dangerous

5) .45-70 Government - For those days I want to shoot Bison from the back of horse going at a full gallop!
