I too want a load to be as flat as possible but I won't give up accuracy to get it. But then again that's what turrets and practice are for.

I think we are all on the same page here. Just different ways of getting to the end! Scotty
 
I always block the early morning sun from my chrony, the sun at that angle can screw things up. I shoot north to south, that is the way our range is set up.
 
From what I have been told every NRA sanctioned range points to the North.
