I got a good friend and Brother Derrick out for some prairie dog killing…From 100ish to 350ish yards.
The two specialty pistols used:
Center-Grip HSP 223 Remington (77 grain TMK @ 2675 fps). Burris XTR-II 3-15
I did shoot my 223 Remington around 10 times, but Derrick shot it the majority of the time.
I just had fun with my rear grip 20 Tactical
Rear Grip CA 20 Tactical with 40 grain V-Max @3445 FPS. Sightron S-Tac.
Both specialty pistols have 15 inch barrels.
We took around 100+PD’s.
Originally, we were going to work on a 1000 yard plus prairie dog kill for Derrick, but the wind was not going to make that a realistic possibility.
At the end, from about 80 to 250 yards, I went 15 for 15 with that little 20 tactical.
