I'm looking at the Federal Bor Loks and Thors for my UML.

My Encore loved the Hornady FPBs, the Federal Bor-Loc's were a close 2nd choice. Thor's were impossible to find, maxi-balls and powerbelts shot about a 2' group at 30 yds out of my Encore. So in the end it depends on what your muzzleloader likes.

Barnes xpander mz, either 250 or 300gr. Have proven very effective

If those xpander Mz's are sabots, they aren't CO legal. My son uses 350gr fpb's and I'm using 300gr tipped Thor's. The No Excuses 460gr is one that I plan on trying next year if it will shoot well.

If they still make em, the Hornady great plaines bullets would be a good choice.
