...220gr. Sierra SBT's/ Win. M70 .325 WSM 200yd zero, I don't think that high one had anything to do w/ anticipating the recoil & "pulling the trigger w/ my eyes closed. Maybe it had an extra gr. of powder & was a hot load...

...yeah, that's it, "it was a hot load"...

...the 6.5 Creedmoor seems to like the 140gr. A-Max...

It almost has to be a hot load or the dreaded first shot flyer.

No I' say the 6.5 LOVES the 140 Amax.

The Creedmoor is delivering the goods for you, Gene. That 325WSM can get your attention at times; I certainly do enjoy mine. The 220 grain GK produces one of my best loads, but I still shoot 200 grain PTs primarily in my own rifle.

Very nice! That 6.5CM is really a cool cat.

The 325WSM looks to be ready for elk. Does it get to hunt this Fall?

The more I play with my 6.5mm rifle the more I like it.
Between the 6.5 and the .325 you're set for anything in North America.

...yeah, 2 cow tags again this years, Oct. 1- Dec-22, I can get one more, but I think 2 elk is gonna be plenty enough work...

...I got a 7mm WSM, 7mmRM, & a .300 WSM between the 6.5 & the .325, Vince...

Nice shooting wildgene. The high one is definitely a hot load. Anticipating recoil while pulling the trigger with your eyes closed is unheard of. No one does that.

Man TWO cow tags! That's just awesome. Hope you have space for another Marine buddy! I don't know what I'd do with myself with two elk tags!

Yup, already am. That's pretty awesome stuff. Less than a few years and I should be released from service. Idaho and Wyoming are putting out that siren song pretty heavily.

Two cow tags is pretty darn sweet! Hard to find any better eating than a nice fat cow! Good shooting as well and since you have two elk tags, I feel you better take at least two rifles hunting. One for each cow to share the wealth in the harvest.

Scotty I did not see you mention MONTANA in you list of locations??

That Scotty, talking about the West. You'll need to see British Columbia again, Scotty, just to be fair. I suspect we'll all see him strolling through the mountains soon enough. He has the hardware to make those strolls successful. All his trips to Oregon are precursors designed to prepare him for this eventuality.

That 325WSM looks to be dialed in and they are definitely a top notch Elk slayer. Looking forward to a story or two along with photos.
Have Fun, Shoot straight and be Safe :)!

Blessings,
Dan
