In an '06 capacity case, ( .270, 30-06, 280, 25-06,etc) has anyone had an issue with R19, in cold temps? Like, did it lose a lot of velocity and/or affect your zero? Thanks.

Used it 2 years ago with 150 gr etip didn't change zero but never checked the velocity. This in a 30-06. Dan.

Been using RL19 for years in 280 ,06 ,300wm,300wsm ,never had a problem with it .

Thanks guys. I liked R26 in my last .270 and the 160PT, R23 did swell with the 150NBT. I'm looking at trying the 129 LRX in a 24" .270 Kimber next, just not sure if I wanted to try R19. I have a friend who uses Barnes Max load w/R19 with it in his 24" Mod 70 EW, a tad over 3200fps! While I would love it if this rifle did that, I just know I "have to have" 3100fps or why bother,? ha

I used RL19 in a 280 Remington for several years and had excellent accuracy with it. It didn't seem to be affected by temperature although I didn't have a chronograph back then to clock speeds.

As long as it didn't affect your zero, that's good by me! :) Thanks Pard.
