This year was a much harder hunt because of hot weather. Elk hunting is usually a challenge to begin with, but we were able to get two nice bulls. I used my .338 RUM loaded with 225gr Accubonds and my best friend used his .300 Win loaded with 180gr Accubonds.
We both shot our bulls the same morning(10/23) about one hour apart and approximatley a mile or two from each other. Thank you Nosler, RCBS, Federal and Hogdons for making it possible. Hopefully the attached slideshow will work:

Awsome job guys, I have freinds who hunt Colorado every year and only came out with a cow elk. I say this because they hunt a migration route and do a lot better but it hasn't taken place yet because of extra warm weather this year just like you said. Glad your hunt went well.

I used a .338 Remington Ultra Mag in 700 BDL with Zeiss 3.5 x 10 x50. The action is pillar bedded. I also replaced the recoil pad with a decelerator. I loaded 225gr AccuBond behind 101gr H-1000 using FED 215M primer COAL 3.60" It is a real tack driver (Elk Buster!!!!)

My buddy used his Remington 700 SPS in .300 Win Mag with a Zeiss 3 x9 x40. The stock wa custom painted by George himself before our trip. He launched a 180gr AccuBond to take his bull.

101 grains . . . . . . To a guy that has never loader over 64 grains that is amazing!

Thanks for sharing the pics and congrats on your hunt.

Looks like Ultra Mags, Accubonds and Elk are a good matchup! Congratulations.

Way to go guys, just because someone used an inferior bullet that flattened like a pancake, or blew up like a hand grenade, their pic was not included, no more P P'nts for me. If nothing else, at least he can shoot a fabulous photo for Ya!!!!!!!
