I would like to know if anyone has seen these bullets for sale to reloaders? I loved the CT btips, I'm sure the CT Abs would be wonderful. I Like the coating and that nice little red tip! If not, why does Nosler not make these available to us?? I personally would use them instead of the uncoated version.

Are you sure there IS a CT AccuBond (AB)? I thought the AB was Nosler only. I have never seen "Combined Technologies" identified with it. This is new to me. Are you seeing these in Winchester factory loads?

The last time I asked, which was mid-year 2005, there were no plans to release an offering of CT Accubonds for reloading. I too wish that they would market them as a reloading component. Along the same lines, with the demise of the Fail Safe I would like to see something like Winchesters XP3 available for reloaders.

CT bullets that are going to be seconds almost always come out before they are shipped off to have the black oxide coating, therefore there are rarely enough seconds after the coating process to make a batch big enough to package for sale. They are generally pulled for variances like hard tamp on the poly tips that make them look funny, although they have little to no effect on bullet performance. I have some 22 cal Ballistic Silver Tips without coating that aren't shiny and they shoot just like the orange tipped model. I've never seen any coated seconds though.

The Pro-Shop sells CT-Failsafes in their shop and they are coated, have seen them with my own eyes. I am not sure about the Ballistic tips but am sure they have come thru with coating before as well. The AccuBond with the coating is so new that i am not sure if one could get them in seconds with the moly-coating yet. Calling up Kyle at SPS would be the best move.
