Dang Cabela's

For me, thank goodness the nearest Cabela's is 75 miles away, through terrible traffic or I'd be broker than I already am. Plus, I gave them back their Gold Visa when they kicked me off the stupid forum.

Besides, I can't seem to enable anyone but myself and Terry! When I signaled the 40% off sale on Leica's at EuroOptic, no one exactly tore out and bought one, except me but I am glad that I did.

It wasn't for lack of wanting Charlie. That's a fact sir!

I know, Scotty and you already have some fine guns and optics like the Swarovski that you bought last year and the Alaskan Model 70 that it is mounted on. I am pretty sure that the Leica is the last scope that I will ever buy. I am pretty deep in scopes now and surely have everything that I could ever need. I was just teasing you!

I know you were just busting my hump a little. I think you have a dynamic bunch of optics and your right, that Leica is a beautiful scope. I still would like to have a Leica 2.5x10ERi in the future I believe. For now, I have decided to put the VX6 2-12 on my 35 Newton. It offered enough of a savings that I was able to get the scope and the McMillan stock for the same money I could have gotten the Leica. At this point in my life, the VX6 will do what I need I think.

Scotty, I believe that the Leupold VX6 will serve your need, certainly on that rifle! You are able to snag some Life of Service discounts that I can not get. I just have to wait until a clearance comes along. However, all in all, I think both of us have pretty well what we need to meet our needs in most situations, at least for hunting in North America.

I am forming a new support group called Cabela's Anonymous.

Hi, my name is Vince, I'm a Cabela's addict. :)

Hopefully I get a job and get out of here before the Cabelas opens up a mile or so from where I live...
