66 grains of RL23 topped my 130 grain Partitions. It’s giving me a very consistent 3249 fps from the 24” featherweight barrel, as is pretty consistent at .65-.7” 3 shot groups. The partitions are seated .025” from the lands. I will handle anything from moose on down if forced to. I tried etips a in this rifle but they build a LOT of pressure early compared to being more well behaved in my others. May try a CX as well. I have them as well.

I can attest that 130 grain pills will take moose and elk (and a variety of smaller game) quite handily at the velocity you are reporting in your 270 WSM. I use the 130 grain E-tip, however. But I sure wouldn't hesitate to use the 130 grain Partition.

My brother is using H1000 and 150 PTs this year in his 270 WSM. We pondered it a bit and decided the 150’s around 3100 are a sure thing.

Honestly anything 130-150 grains is dynamite in my book.

I've always had good success with partitions. I'm using 150G accubonds in my 270 WSM this fall for mule deer and cow elk. Good luck hunting.
