Well a guy at work asked me to go shooting. I took my AR, M1, and .338 WM that I have never shot. My buddy loved the AR and M1. I shot 4 shots out the the Winchester and now I excited to work up some loads for the .338. The 4 shots made one hole at 50 yards. Not bad concidering I just wanted it to go bang.

Surely you don't mean that you hit the target once and then missed three consecutive times! I'm having you on. Good stuff. Great report. The 338 is a great round and can deliver excellent accuracy.

Its just a start. The 338WM seems to be really accurate for alot of guys. Pretty simple to load for as well. Scotty

got to love it when things turn out great at the range.

Good start. What was your bang load for the 338 Win Mag?

My buddy tells me how he shoots tiny little groups. Then I see the powder burns on his target.......................

A 33 calibre pencil works better; it doesn't leave powder burns.

No pictures so you can't believe me  My buddy took the targets down and put them in his range bag before I knew it and then all I could think about was reloading for the .338.

That 338 is a fine caliber and will never let you down. If you can handle the recoil it has to rate as one of the all time greats! Good luck with your shooting.
