Dogs at camp

So this morning about 0800 the dogs were outside doing their morning business. The first bear we seen in camp chose that moment to arrive. Sister n laws Belgium malinois got a good bite. Dogs 1 bears 0

The bear encounter must have really worn out those poor dogs. They all look good.

I hunted the Thoroughfare Oct '15 . this place is thick with grizzly bear . the one guide had his jack russell along . Lucy was a grizzly hating machine . she was after them nightly . they have pics of her nose to nose keeping them away from the tents .

I never leave home without one.

I liked the bear in The Edge and Unfinished Life . All growl and no bite

Not to take away from this post but thought it was funny that there was a Black Bear cub spotted walking around a small town not far from me today and was wondering where momma was.

I absolutely love the Malinois. I had the pleasure of working with them a few times and they were fantastic.
