Just loaded the following up for this weekend.

30-06 180 gr ETip
RP case
CCI BR2 primer
IMR4350 powder 51gr
OAL 3.329

30-06 180 gr ETip
RP case
CCI BR2 primer
IMR4350 powder 52gr
OAL 3.329

I will post results and pictures of groups. I am hoping they will group up good and not spray them all over the target.

Good luck. My 30-06 180ET load has been the most accurate load I've ever come up with.

Keep us posted.

I will load up some for my M24 for the next round of loads. On that load I will be using Norma brass but all other information will be the same.

The best results seem to be with the E-Tip .100" off the lands.

In my .308 win the E-Tip's grouped very tight when loaded .050" off the rifling. The same load @ .100" off the rifling caused the groups to be about 4X larger.

Looks like the E-Tip's may be VERY sensitive to the amount of bullet jump.

The COL for my 30-06 was 3.39", which isn't even close to the minimum recommendation of .050 from the lands. Only way to find out what works best is to experiment.

Right now I am taking it slow and loading to specks from loading book I have. Loading it with low grain loads and going from there. No way am I planning on pumping things up untill I see what everything looks like and how the gun handles the load. It may not be the hottest loads but it will be enough to take down the critter's I am working up the loads for.

Do not worry POP I am taking it slow on this one for sure.

Went to the club today and got my 22-250 sighted in. It was getting a little crazy up there and so I did not get to shoot my Etip loads. It was a bummer but I will get a chance soon to try them out.

On a side note the 22-250 is shooting great. Now I will get some other loads started and go for grouping and will post.
