Educate me on fobus holsters.

I bought this holster not too long ago. The problem is that removing the gun from the holster is a bear. Tight as heck! Is there a trick to this? I looked and there are rivets and no screws to loosen. I have never worn this due to this fact. Any help?

I can't offer you any suggestions on the current holster. You might want to consider a custom holster from Eric Larson.

Pop, I am another that HATES those holsters, as do most of my other teamates. They are not really friendly for quick shooting, excellent for weapon retention though.

I do however like the Blackhawk Serpa Holster. Great weapon retention and also very easy to get a good grip on your weapon before drawing it. The Fobus has never had a really great calling amongst us guys. Check out the Serpa, very reasonably priced and a good holster for all around use.

The Holsters on the right side of our body armor are Serpa's and they are very rugged. Scotty

I too like the Blackhawk Serpa, but when the town got a new Glock Model 21 SF I learned that Blackhawk only makes their Duty Holster for that particular version. I have one and just love it. However for everyday wear I ended up with a Blade Tech Paddle Holster with I also really like. The tension is adjustable on the Blade Tech.

All i use for open carry for my Glocks is the Blawkhawk Serpa. I would like to try the Blade tech since i have heard good reports on them.

I am not usually a big fan of Blackhawk gear, but their Serpa's are bullet proof. They get pulled, smashed and all around abused and still work perfect, and the retention system is very good. Scotty

That is a method! Some guns just don't work. Scotty
