40-50 yards I'd guess? Stalked him on foot for quite a while to get that close, however he's a Yellowstone bull, so kinda used to people being around.Beautiful! Guy, you are feeding our fall fantasies. How close were you to this bull when you took the photo?
Tough decision. My biggest issue (every year) is what to take. 375 H&H, 340 Bee, 300 RUM, 300 Win, 300 Bee 30-06........and the list goes on!
That's a nice problem to have.My biggest issue (every year) is what to take. 375 H&H, 340 Bee, 300 RUM, 300 Win, 300 Bee 30-06........and the list goes on!
OK but if you were to draw, which bull would it be? and do they not have landowner tags in WA?Washington bulls, only about 10 miles from my home! This mid-winter photo was before sunrise in very low light, sorry for the poor resolution. Was on private property my friends own. This group of bulls winters there every year. I keep trying for the tag...
Very steep odds against drawing the tag to hunt big bulls in that area. Sigh...
