Family afternoon at the range

Excellent, Guy!! Isn't it great to spend quality time with the family like that?!?!

I tried to shoot some this past Sat morning and it was already 84 degrees at 7:00 a.m. There was no way for my barrel to cool for proper load development so I just wound up shooting 3 three shot groups with cleaning between groups. That should wrap up the barrel break-in of my 338-06. I'll probably wait until fall to do something with the 210 PT loads.

Scott I feel your pain, it was a blistering 68 degrees at 10:00 AM when I started shooting this morning! :p Not bad, but still too hot.

My wife came home and our 15 year old son was vacuuming the house!  She went and felt his forehead to see if he might be sick. She went and did some more errands and when she came back, he had the water on the front lawn as he had just mowed it, and was now out back doing the other half! This all withought being asked or told to! Who stole my son!

Guy I don't think you want to make your wife made. She's a crack shot!

David, doesn't he still need a scope for that 300 WSM you bought him? Maybe he's working to get on your scoped good side!

I never even considered that, but now that you think of it, that is certainly a possibility! They are pretty sharp aren't they no matter what the age!

You aren't kidding about that!

I was thinking the same thing Jake, I figured he was making a move to get some optics on that rifle of his. Scotty
