Well people, it looks like I will be heading to DrMike's for the last week of August & a couple days into September to hunt Moose. Mike informed me this evening that the permit went through for him to sponsor me in a fall Moose hunt. So if the Lord is willing & the river don't rise I am going on a BC Moose hunt (y).
Now I got to get my butt into gear & get mounts for my 35 Whelen as the Talley lows will not work with the Zeiss scope.
I am hoping that I will be able to sell the Talley 1" lows as they have only been on the rifle & tightened.
Sure looking forward to this hunt with DrMike, his grandson, gerry & myself we should have a great time.

Blessings,
Dan

Shhhhh, Guy. Don't tell Dan, but he is nominated to carry me, since my knees are still arthritic. (y)

Guy, I can take the photos just not good at getting them on the forum .

Blessings,
Dan

DrMike, gerry is the youngest so I believe if we do this democratically he will be nominated & will get my vote for that.

Blessings,
Dan

True, Dan, but Gerry gave me some 358 Norma Mag brass and dies when he was here in Jan. What am I bid for my vote?

I did give you some old reloading books & a box of 284 bullets plus I do have that extra RL15 .

Blessings,
Dan

Oops. Forgot about the reloading books. Now you're talkin' when you mention the RL15! (y)

Should be a great time for sure Dan :) I have RL 15 too, just sayin......... ;)

Ah, I'm just yanking your chain, guys; I have a new five-pounder of RL15. :)

I'm trying to decide between the 200 gr AccuBond or 200 gr TTSX or just develop a new load with the 225 gr AccuBond and some of that RL 15 in the man cave. I may need to do a bullet test with all 3 of them in the same stack of dry newspapers to see if there is any noticeable difference.

I believe either will work, Gerry. However, don't let me dissuade you from the bullet tests; they would be most interesting. I need to do some load development this week. I fought (unsuccessfully) a migraine all day or I would have had some loads worked up today. Fortunately, there is always tomorrow.

Congratulations Dan.
I eagerly await your post, and pictures, of what I pray is a fun, satisfying, joyful hunt.

Pray for ME, Vince. Two lefties messing with my mind! Sounds positively scary. Oops. I forgot I was speaking with another lefty. :?

DrMike, you forgot about your grandson  is he not a lefty as well. I believe by the end of this adventure you will be selling off your collection and starting over from the left side !! With all these lefties around you I think that God is trying to tell you something special is going to happen (y)!

Blessings,
Dan
