Love the red hues back east. No red hues here; yellows and goldens. We enjoyed looking at groves of larch during a drive back home this past week. We do have a couple of ornamental choke cherry trees in our front yard that turn a dark wine colour.

Ours are so stressed from the hot summer and drought that they are just turning brown and falling off. A few maples are showing some color but they have lost all the leaves in the top of the trees.

I have a good friend living in Dover Fox Croft, Maine I spoke with recently. He stated the colors were exceptional this year.
