Been looking at these online and like the way it looks but was wondering if someone has one or experience with one. Looking to replace a Weatherby Orion I sold that was used for skeet mostly. Dan.

Dan,
I don't have any experience with the Franchi Instinct L but my wife has an Affinity. It's a darn nice shotgun. Franchi is owned by Beretta and they make some very nice shotguns. I love my Beretta Silver Pigeon, it just feels great and points where you look. I would think the Franchi Instinct L would be the same.

I don’t know the model and not home to check-BUT. . . I bought a Franchi 20 gauge after repeated disappointing experiences with beretta. The 20 quickly became my daughter’s favorite. I use it when she isn’t with me. I like the weight, the wood is nice, the rounded grip is pleasing and the action once broken in was lively and strong. I just ordered a 16 gauge “side plate” version so she can keep hers and I’ll have my own. The best part is between me hunting chukars with it in true chukar country and her hunting ducks and pheasants and it hasn’t had cracked wood or stuck ejectors. I have not had to use Franchi customer service. I have had several makes and models and Franchi has been my favorite thus far- IMG_1990.jpegIMG_0201.jpegIMG_6814.jpeg

I have a Franchi Instinct SL in 16ga.

Looks like yours except mine has a silver colored receiver. I got the extended chokes for mine from Midwest Gun Works.

It is fast becoming my favorite grouse and rabbit shotgun. I got a couple flats of Federal low brass 8s to shoot skeet with. Very light gun, I have yet to get a 25, but can usually get 22-23.

With Federal 6s its hell on rabbits.

Got some Boss non-toxic 4s, think I will use it on some mallards on a small creek I have access to.

Enjoy that shotgun, dont be surprised if you use it more than your other ones.

Was your gun really tight to open and close when it was new?

Are these guns neutral cast or are they cast for right hand shooters?

Mine is very tight to open and close but it hasn't been shot much yet so not broke in. Seems to be neutral or slightly right hand friendly. Of course, best if you could handle one and see how it fits you personally.
Dan.

Thanks Dan, mine hasn't been shot at all yet. Nice shotgun IMO. I agree they are cast slightly for a right hand shooter. Thanks again!
