Front sight LCRX 38 spc 3" fell off. What would be a good replacement?

All of a sudden I noticed all shots going over the top of the paper. Apparently the front sight had fallen off! Couldn't find the sight or the roll pin. I see a HiViz sight offered. I went ahead an ordered it.
What would be a good replacement?
Is a fiber optic sight durable and a step up?
Other options?
It's my kit gun, carry it when I go back to pack out meat or when hiking with dogs or kids in predator country.

Hi Vis does a nice job. They are correct to spec to the best of my knowledge. My neighbor has worked for the from the beginning and they are located here in Laramie. Hope it works for you.
