Going south for a domestic safari...

Well, I'm new to this forum and look forward to sharing info and gaining knowledge...

We are headed south to Socorro for an off-range oyrx hunt that my wife drew out for. 2 years ago she shot a nice young bull with an AB out of my .270 wsm and it performed outstanding. Can't wait to try it again!

140 gr. The first one she shot (2 yrs ago) hit the main leg bone - humorous - and the bullet was in the hide on the opposite shoulder. expansion was textbook and retrieved approx 65% wt. He ran 70 yds before piling up after getting up from being knocked down from being hit. He was standing 280 yds when she hit him.

We plan on pictures and hopefully home video...
